ABOUT ME!

I am a third-year college student at James Madison University, majoring in Theatre with concentrations in Design/Technology and Education with Licensure. I am currently working as the Costume & Props Liaison at the JMU Studio Theatre.

I am a costume designer/technician, props designer/artisan, educator, crocheter, painter, singer, amateur historian, and Court Jester! (Court being the Costume and Scene Shops.)

I believe that education is a right and I am working to be a humanities teacher in public schools. I am currently working on my licensure in theatre so I will be able to teach theatre K-12 in Public Schools across Virginia.
I aim to be an activist though my art and my work as an educator. I hope to lift students and my fellow creators up through collaboration and encouragement. Kindness takes less effort than cruelty, and I strive to be a kind person in all aspects of my life. "Nice is different than good."
